New Revised Standard Version Bible for MP3 Dramatized

Our drammatized NRSV has brought the Bible alive for us as we are blind and cannot read print. With each book and chapter easy to find it makes a great companion for study and worship and for memorization. Thanks so much for this wonderful way of hearing God's Word. Excelent Bible Choice.

Faith Comes By Hearing is very good. I like its dramatization, making it much more fun to listen to. I have been listening to it (one chapter per day) ever since I got it.

It's been so good to listen to. One thing I want to comment is that the background sound(drama) should be reduced! Most of the time it is so loud enough to listen to the main text. * Please make the whole version of non-dramatized bible.

Very happy with being able to listen to the scriptures - just a little distracting with overdramatising sometimes.

I wear hearing aids and the music in the background to me, and I suspect with other aid users, is disconcerting. It is a problem with the amplification of sounds by the aids and not with your product. I will swap it for one without music. Many thanks for a great product.

I found this Bible for my iPod player to be very helpful. I can listen to it while I'm in the car and the animation keeps my interest. My only criticism is that it can't be downloaded as an audiobook. It becomes part of your music and if you try to shuffle songs you get Bible verses instead.

For me, It is a amazing resource to grow your faith and knowledge. I am using it every day. I recommende it wity all my heart. your servant.

My whole family has been enjoying listening to the NRSV Bible presented on these discs. Its been great to have the different actors read the different parts. The music is a nice addition. The only drawback is the MP3 format makes it imposible to play this on most CD players. No sucess burning a CD.

This audio Bible does an excellent job of putting the listener within the text or story. Good sound effects and multiple voices for different characters really make it very realistic. Good job.!

Files on CD are mpg3,when loaded to ipod are recognized as music files. For ease in navigating on an ipod they must be converted into audio books. I found this process simple using free chapter and verse software, but takes some time considering the size of the complete bible.

After years of procrastination, I decided to buy an audio Bible as my new job has me driving a lot. While my preferred translation is the NASB, my first ever Bible was an NRSV and I liked the fact that this was dramatised. To hear backgrounds sounds and enhances the experience for me. Well worth it!

I enjoy my Audio Bible. It is always a blessing. I can listen to the word everything of the day. I have it on my Ipod and my home computer and leave the cd at work. That great.

This was very easy to load onto my iPod. It really brings the scriptures alive. I have no complaints about any of the voices or about the background music, as some have had. I am very pleased with it overall, and am glad to have an audio version of the NRSV. It has definitely enhanced my Bible study.

Purchased this for my brother-in-law who is a chaplain. He had it loaded on his MP3 player within an hour of opening it on Christmas morning. Would recommend to anyone who has long commute.

I bought the audio Bible because I was in a Bible course that involved lots of reading; don't like to sit, so put it onto iPod. I listen while I walk. My only nit-pick, as a Hebrew speaker: the pronunciation of the Hebrew names is simply terrible. Otherwise, a great rendition of the Good Book.

I am used to reading the Bible through two or three times a year. For the first time now, I am doing it with the audio recordings. It´s been a blessing beyond what I expected. It´s also a great gift for friends. I'm planning on purchasing other versions too.

I really enjoy listening. Very easy to follow along and retain information because men speak for the men in the Bible and women speak for the women so there is no confusion as to who is speaking. My daughter will be using it at Seminary to help her retain the Word as she studies it.

I found it difficult to find on MP3 the NRSV, until I came across this web site. Easy to transfer to MP3 or iPod with this site's video they provide. I am able to follow in my Bible word for word while listening. The dramatization makes it all the more interesting to listen. Thank you

Phenominal Audio Bible, have a 6CD Changer in my car and I listen to the Word to and from work every day. Love it, highly recommend the product. My spirit is filled every day afresh and anew with the Word of God. The dramatization makes listening more exciting and interesting.

I've just begun to listen to my Audio Bible

I ordered this set of CDs because I wanted it to help me memorize Scripture. The version I got has some background music--not enough to be distracting, but enough to help me with my memorization. It has served my purpose and I will definitely use it again.

I am enrolled in deacon formation at the Iona School for Ministry. Just before the first weekend of classes, I developed double vision due to 4th Cranial Nerve Palsy. I was so glad to have this audio verison of the NRSV Bible so I could prepare for my classes. It is well done & entertaining.

My scripture familiarity is going up remarkably as I listen to it. What a joy to be read to. The only difficulty I have had is that two of the labels for the disks were switched so that labels don't match the readings.

I really like the way they've got different readers for each book, and, in fact, each character in the story. It's exciting enought that even my 4, 6 and 8 year old ask for it! However, if you can, I would suggest skipping the music. It's cheaply done on an synth, and it's more distracting.

I am entirely happy with this audio version of the NRSV. (BTW, the music is at least partly the same as that of the Spanish-language Reina-Valera 1995 version from Sociedades Bíblicas Unidas.) My only gripe is with this distributor, Audio Bibles. Why ship to Portugal and France but not Spain?

My apologies! I just complained that Audio Bibles did not ship to Spain. (They didn't when I bought this product; I had to have it sent to my parents' in the States.) I see that they do now.

Dream do come true! As I have been listening it, I am so blessed and improving in terms of my academic study, knowledge, spiritual and so on. Moreover I have a desire to let everybody know and be blessed too. So I presume that it is one of the best ministerial work of God to the Nations. Wonderful!

After I have received this product, my relation with the word of god have increased many folds. This in turn made me more close to God therefore I am able to resist sin better. Day by day I am renewed by the spirit through the live word of god from this product. May god bless all.

I won't let my kids listen to it. The character who plays Jesus sounds like Clifford, yes, the big red dog. And he giggles periodically. The voice of Paul is great, but suddenly Timothy pops in, and lets just say he is not the most manly of figures. Character who plays the voice of God - Star Trek

the voices on this audio bible are well done and generally speaking consistent to the character across the narrative. however sometimes the music gets a bit overwhelming. in my opinion it would be better off without the music in the background. i enjoy the different voices tho.

This is well done. I flows from one chapter to the next smoothly. I like very much the various voices used. I don't like the music so much. It's distracting sometimes, and not always a style that goes with Scripture (in my humble opinion). I wish you would do voices without so much music.

For me, being familiar with Bible study, it is God's loving Providence. The Word of God is always inspiring, reading it or listening to it. But listening to it is much more easier, less tiring and more available during both day and night. Above all, the excellent dramatization makes it so enjoyable.

The Audio Bible is well worth the financial investment and can be taken with you anywhere. You can use the CDs in the car, transfer it to an MP3 player and then carry it anywhere. I am getting one for a recently baptized new convert who is illiterate. He is hungry for the Word.

When you put scripture into spoken words, you interpret it. The interpretation this audio bible gives is often mundane and sometimes unfortunate. Most frustrating are the voices of characters, which opt for stereotype instead of clarity. I was offended by the voicing of the Sodomites.
