The words that are difficult to pronounce are pronounced for you. As you listen to the word of God, you are immersed by reading and listening.

The catholic bible on DVD is a good find. It's a great alternative to the standard cotton candy fare of cable television, and the voice of the narrator is clear. It is also very easy to use and index as it is divided into books and chapters within the books. Also, it is extremely affordable.

Reading the Bible can be dry. Listening to it on tape/cd/ipod can be equally as boring, your mind drifts. When I viewed this on DVD, the Bible came alive. The person who is reading this Bible is engaging. It makes you want to hear more. The Bible became understandable. Reading/hearing it is key.
