Dramatized CEV Bible for MP3 with Background Music

Being a blind person it is impossible to read print and so having my new CEV MP3 version of the Bible, I can listen and enjoy God's Word anytime. The Dramatization makes the Bible come alive which makes it more enjoyable to hear rather than someone just reading without expression.

Certain books or chapters of this CEV audio bible are very well done. Others have lower production values with the voice acting, music, or editing interrupting my ability to hear the Spirit speaking. However, there are enough gems inside to make this worth hearing all the way through. Jesus reigns!

As an alternative to a study bible, I have found the Contemporary English Version - Dramatized, as a charming devotional that makes the substance of key verses pop out into renewed freshness. Please treat yourself to this delicious Spirit filled delight.

My purchase of the CEV MP3 was money well spent. My eyesight has dimmed so I needed a good listening story version. I'm already enjoying Old Testament stories and more. It sounds just like good drama while I do my walking exercises

I really have enjoyed Contemporary English Version. Audio Bible, it has helping a lot as a student of English as Second Language. CEV is easy to understand. I strongly reccomend this product

I love the fact that I can get the ENTIRE Contemporary English Version in audio format, and I really like this product overall. I DO wish the voice of God had been read by an American instead of an English voice talent. Otherwise, I really enjoy this Bible a lot!

This audio version like listen story, good and interesting.

It is easy to load and use. Individual chapters are helpful for reference. The tempo of the reading is very listenable. On the con side, the music is pretty goofy and distracting, and the U.K. accents of readers in the Old Testament seem odd.

I have used this version for a Bible as Literature class, especially for students who struggle with reading. The audio version is a great complement for class readings and reinforcement of the Scripture's meaning. The students also like the dramatization.

I like listening to the stories, makes it easier to get.

I love the audio bible. I listen while exercising and driving. Some of the background music can be annoying but the dramatized voices are excellent.

I use the audio Bible in a school classroom, teaching elementary students. In Genesis the musical background was very distracting, but in Luke (for example) the different voices in the narration were very good. The indexing with books in separate folders and chapters in separate files is excellent.

I bought this as a gift for another person and had it sent directly to them so I can not give a review for this product. I have this version on my computer and use it for comparison.

Thank you for providing this product. I use this to build up my English listening skills and speaking skills. At the same time, through again and again listening Matthew, I can get the whole picture of it. I plan to listen Matthew 100 times this year. I believe good things will happen soon.

I purchased the Contemporary Bible and put it on my iPod. I do construction work and it has been a wonderful way for me to get my daily Bible reading accomplished as I work. The dramatic way in which the scripture is presented makes me anxious to see what the next chapter will bring. Thank you!!

A Bible CEV is very well, a have one bible and I'm reading, the language is very easy.

Great bible! Easy to understand and fun to listen -it's almost like listening to a movie.

My 28 year old son has been asking for an audio Bible for some time now. Brian is in a wheelchair and is mentally impared. When we found this version we knew it was for him. He loves the different voices Thank you very much for offering a nice alternative.

I teach Scripture in the local government schools. The children enjoy the dramatised Bible readings accompanied by the musical backgrounds. It adds depth to the Powerpoint presentations. Thankyou
